Teresa, a native of Durham, North Carolina grew up with a love for
music. While most young people were into sports, music, dancing, and
just being
around their
peers, Teresa was singing and writing her own music at an early age.
This music blossomed into her adulthood. Once she gave her life to the
Lord, she continued to sing and to minister to other people as well. Her
sultry voiced has healed and comforted many broken hearts, and people
who are hurting. Songs of encouragement and songs of joy are sung to
uplift any and everyone who is in attendance.
As Teresa writes songs, she writes them with others in mind, how they
may be comforted, healed, and blessed through her music. Teresa worships
at the Word of Faith Christian Community Church, under the leadership of
Apostle Eugene McNeal. In her motto, she exemplifies Christ in her
singing: "Serving the Lord with gladness and coming before His presence
with singing." (Psalm 100:1 revised). This is the principle she
continuously lives by.
With Teresa's vocal style the audience is first captivated by her style
of singing, and then her voice. Teresa's voice is one that reaches into
the depths of your soul. It is a cross between Dottie Peoples and Gladys
Knight. Teresa is an ordained Evangelist, a praise and worship leader, a
minister and an intercessor for others. As Teresa sings, her music is
used as a conduit to minister and to lead others to Christ. Teresa has
been married for eleven (11) years and lives in Durham, North Carolina
with her husband.
